Hey all, back from my hiatus as blogger and admin of the site (things got a little crazy during the transition from school to summer). So lets start things off with a few congratulations. Looks like the Black and Orange have been doing some work this summer!

Ladies first: congrats to Katie Moore for bringin home a bronze in the Women's 20-24 division at the Bigfoot Triathlon, held in Lake Geneva, WI (Sprint Distance). Props to her for even going to WI in the first place--that state SUCKS.

Also, congrats to Dan Henry (feels kinda weird congratulating myself in the third person) for finishing 2nd in the Collegiate Sprint division of the Scarlet & Grey Triathlon, held in Columbus, OH. Congratulations also to Dan for spending at least half his paycheck in the Short North that weekend.

Good job, athletes!

The next MSC event is the Lakeside-Kelley's Island 4-mile Open Water Swim. and let's face it, we're only doing it for the shirts. Hope to see you there!

On another note, Katiemoore got Paige (her rogue shoulder) surgified this morning at 5:30. Paige and KT are currently being kept under heavy painkillers and inside a giant cooler. I don't really know what she means when she tells me about this "giant cooler" either. You'll have to ask her. More news to come, as it happens. Get well soon, Katie!
