ONU Student Senate

Due to vacancies on Student Senate, there are currently College Representative positions available for the College of Business (1). Petitions will be available immediately at the following link: http://webstu.onu.edu/senate/content/2008-elections. These petitions must be filled out and signed by students from your perspective college and must be turned in to Student Senate by September 26th in the Student Senate file box at the Student Affairs Office in McIntosh.

The procedures for filling vacancies are outlined in the most recent by-laws, found at the following link: http://webstu.onu.edu/senate/content/constitution-by-laws. The by-laws state that the vacancies must be announced at two General Assembly meetings prior to the selection of a candidate to fill the position. The vacancies will be announced at the General Assembly meetings on September 17th and September 24th and petitions will be due on September 26th. The best candidates will be selected as the new representatives for their respective colleges at the General Assembly meeting on October 1st.
